The Carleton Lodge is ideally located for Whistler mountain biking. With the Whistler Bike Park running from the Whistler Village Gondola, you are only a few steps from joining all those who have found another way to enjoy Whistler Mountain in the summertime. The Carleton Lodge is directly at the base of Whistler Mountain, and our two bedroom luxury suites overlook the Mountain Bike Park descent. Sit on your balcony and watch the show as bikers descend Whistler Mountain and ride into line, or get your bike from our secure bike storage lockup and join in the fun. Cross country rides are also easily accessible to those who prefer to work their way up the mountains as well as riding down.
Worried that your bike isn’t ready for a full descent of Whistler Mountain? No problem! Mountain bike rentals are available for those who want to experiment with new equipment. Or if you want to go for a cross country ride and don’t want the weight of your full-suspension bike slowing you down, rent a hard tail mountain bike, or a cruiser to tour the Valley Trail.
Other summer activities that are easily accessed by guests of the Carleton Lodge include ATV tours, whitewater rafting, ZipTrek, tree top eco-walks, and more, all leaving from the Carleton Lodge several times a day. Next door to the Carleton Lodge at the Whistler Gondola, you can purchase gondola passes for mountaintop sightseeing and glacier skiing. This year the sightseeing tours include Whistler Peak! There are also three golf courses within Whistler for you to enjoy.
