“Thanks for a great place to stay for our vacation at Whistler/Blackcomb. Just a few steps to gondolas for both mountains and right in the middle of the village. A great view of the Sunday night Fire and Ice show from the balcony. Great for kids of any age. Plenty of space for all of us and super comfortable. We had a great time and would definitely stay again.”
“I know I'm just repeating what's been said in other reviews (thus, may do harm to my ability to rebook), but it's true. There isn't a better location to stay and Alan is incredibly helpful, charming and a source of great knowledge on everything from how to get there, to restaurants, ski rental, etc. You name it, he knows it (...in Whistler, I'll leave it to his wife to comment on the rest of life). We look forward to staying again...(if the rest of the world doesn't book first based on reviews!)”
“What a fantastic location - the best position in Whistler, we looked straight up the gondola to the mountain. We stayed in Unit 405 and couldn't be happier. We were a family of 6 (parents and 4 kids aged 18, 18, 23 & 27 yrs). The unit was everything we needed including a much needed laundry. The bed configuration was a very comfortable king size bed with own bathroom, 2nd bedroom had a bunk (bottom was double bed) plus one extra bed. The lounge had a pull out bed in the lounge suite. These are usually very thin and uncomfortable but this one had a fully sprung mattress and was very comfortable for an adult to sleep on. The kitchen was full of all the necessary utensils, toasters, jugs, microwave and a huge fridge/freezer. The unit was warm with triple glazing and was very clean and tidy. We loved the location of 405 because it was on the end so we had no noise coming from people passing our door in the hallway. Would highly recommend Carleton Lodge if you are wanting a ski in/ski out location.”
“4 of us (2 adults / 2 kids) stayed in #402 and it was excellent. Can look down from the windows/balcony and check how long your lift line is going to be. Very comfortable and convenient to everything, including rental shop. Alan was an excellent host and kept in touch even though he was on the other side of the world. Sure hope to make it back for next season.”
“My wife and I have 3 kids (ages 14, 12, 9) and unit 402 checked every single box for us. LOCATION: you are in the heart and soul of all the action. Steps away from the unit are the lifts/gondolas, restaurants, apres action, supermarket, liquor store, movie theater, escape the room, endless shopping, ski/rental shops, bakeries, guest services for all outdoor activities, etc. Centrally located...this location is second to none. ACCOMMODATIONS: We ate in quite a bit and the kitchen was well-equipped with pretty much everything you need. At night my wife and I slept in the master, the girls took the bunk beds in BR #2, and our son had the pullout in the living room. Everyone slept very comfortably. Open up the blinds in the morning and the breathtaking views of Whistler/Blackcomb become wall art....simply stunning. COMMUNICATION WITH THE OWNER: Alan was great to work with and simply a class act. This being our first time to WB he was more than willing to go above and beyond in sharing much of his local knowledge with us (like avoiding "the triple Lande") so we could hit the ground running and explore in one piece. Whether by email or phone, Alan always made himself available to us. You won't find many owners this engaged in helping to plan the perfect vacation/stay. All in all, #402 exceeded our expectations. There is no need for a car as everything is just a short walk or stumble away. It was great having a ski locker in the building to store our gear in before heading up to the room. The walk from the lifts/gondola to the lockers was short enough for even my 9 yr. old daughter to carry her own equipment to and from everyday! ....a dream for dads. Simply put *This is where you want to stay while visiting Whistler*”
“You couldn't have a better location- it feels every ski run funnels directly to your Condo! It's in the heart of the Apres Ski scene (but isn't noisy!) and a stones throw the all the best restaurants. And the view!!!!! All I have to say is WOW.”
“We stayed at Alan's place for 3 nights and the location is unbelievable! My fiance and I skied while our parents hung out in the condo over the 3 days and all of us were very happy with the accommodations. Right in the heart of Whistler Village, tons of restaurants right downstairs and the lifts and gondolas at your doorstep. We would definitely stay here again!”
“Location, location, location - fantastic property in the heart of Whistler and only meters from the lifts. Alan was great to deal with and answered all queries quickly and precisely. The apartment has all you need for a comfortable and relaxing Whistler vacation - highly recommended.”
“This was our second stay at this unit and returned due to it's convient location to the lifts. Everything was exactly as expected (parking, ski locker, location, size, etc) and we had an excellent vacation. With young kids it is hard to walk a long way with a pile of skis on your back, this is right at the base with a locker making it very easy. The unit has a good amount of space and the kitchen was just like being at home. We made use of the Murphy bed and slept the kids in the bedroom so we could stay up later. Alan was a good host offering his support for anything we needed before and during the stay including following up with us at the end on how our stay was. I would definitely recommend this unit.”
“This little condo has everything you need for a perfect ski vacation--fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, sweet window seat for watching the village wake up, and the best location imaginable. The gondolas are steps away, the ski lockers are downstairs, shops and restaurants are everywhere around you. Yet it's quiet enough to sleep peacefully. Alan's always available--including to help with arranging everything from discount lift tickets to heli-skiing!-- but not intrusive. I cannot imagine a better place to stay, for the price, in Whistler. We've been here twice, and we're coming back.”
“Cannot express how convenient the location of this Lodge is to all facilities including shops, ski lift and supermarket. The room facilities including kitchen and laundry are a huge plus and the views from the room are spectacular. Highly recommended for any families traveling to whistler as convenience is key when lugging around a lot of ski gear. Thanks Alan for your hospitality!”

A great apartment - excellent facilities in a central location.
“A lovely apartment with everything you need for your stay in Whistler. Located in the centre of the village and only a couple of minutes walk from the slopes this is a perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy everything Whistler has to offer.”
“This place is great! Super close to everything, a 5 min walk to the gondola, beds are comfy. The only thing that happened was on Weds.(Industry night) there was a lot of noise from the bars downstairs(people talking and the music from the bar), it was a little tough to sleep. I wrote Alan the owner and he was extremely quick to respond and also let the bar owners know how loud it was. They were so apologetic about it and offered to host us for drinks and wings, which was super nice and above and beyond what they needed to do. They also said they'd inform the GM's of the bars to keep an eye on the outside noise. We didn't really hear anything after this, which was nice. I think weds. is just the big party night for all the people who work at the resort. If you are a light sleeper this place may be tough to get a good night sleep. Alan is great and really on top of making sure your stay is as comfortable as possible! I'd definitely stay here again.”
“Just returned from a great week in Whistler. Part of the reason it was so great, was the condo that we stayed in. It was in a great location and had all the right stuff to make us (2 adults / 2 children) feel at home. The condo is as it appears in the ad, stylish and clean. We enjoyed having coffee on the upstairs deck and using the pool. Our host, Alan, greeted us with an email and followed up with a call to ensure that everything went smooth. Hoping to visit again next year.”
“We had a great stay at the Adara Penthouse. The Adara is located in the heart of Whistler Village, a stone throw from the lifts, stores and restaurants, golf, this location is one of Whistlers best! The condo is perfect for 4 people, two couples or a family of 4. Both the bathrooms were very nice, the waterfall shower was my favorite. The condo is stocked with enough amenities to stay in and cook, or just make some drinks before going out. There is a rooftop seating area for summertime dining or just hanging out. Checking is super easy, communication is great. They offer key code entry so we never had to think of carrying or loosing keys. Valet parking for $20 a day or self parking just around the corner for $10 a day. If you are looking for a comfortable stay, this penthouse condo is worth it.”
“LOVED the location and it was clean. Unit getting rather dated and worn, particularly cupboards, carpet and master bath but otherwise fine. Owner EXTREMELY responsive and accommodating with calls for any repairs, i.e. broken lamp, soiled duvet cover, broken closet doors. All repaired with just one call. Amenities for services great too; i.e. shop downstairs for equipment rentals and purchase, hotub, pool, gym so convenient. Grocery store and liquor store just around the corner too. Would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!”

Very comfortable and convenient location and condo.
“Had a great stay- the Aspens amenities were very nice and loved the ski in/out. Big kudos to Alan for being the perfect and attentive host, who was there to help out with questions or issues before, during and after our stay.”
“We celebrated New Year's at #212 and had a wonderful experience! We watched the fireworks at midnight from the warmth and comfort of our living room! The ski in-ski out location was perfect and the skiing conditions were great. The Aspens is conveniently located and is a well-run facility. Unfortunately the pool was not available to use, however the hot tubs were very much appreciated. We had a few issues with the suite upon our arrival but we were very impressed with the prompt attention we received from both Alan and the strata maintenance folks. We would certainly recommend this unit for 4 people (6 would be too crowded). A great way to end 2016 and ring in 2017! Thanks Alan.”
